Next Gen SSI is an association of the Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases. It connects junior members, physicians in training for the infectious diseases specialty title, and early-career specialists who want to help shape the future of infectiology in Switzerland.
Who we are
Next Gen SSI gives the next generation of infectious disease professionals a dedicated voice within the Society. It complements the work of the Executive Committee, commissions, and delegates by focusing on the needs of colleagues at the beginning of their specialist career.
Regulations
The Next Gen SSI Regulations define the constitution, organization, and governance of the Next Gen Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases (Next Gen SSI) as an association within the Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases (SSI).

Who can join
Next Gen SSI is open to SSI junior members and to ordinary members in the early stages of their career in infectious diseases. Junior membership is available to physicians in training for Infectious Diseases board certification. We welcome colleagues who wish to contribute — whether by joining the association, proposing an activity, or taking on a coordinating role.
